So, You’re a Gearhead

You like to take things apart. You always have. As a kid, you might have disassembled the vacuum cleaner just to see what made is suck. Or you pulled all the spark plug wires off your dad’s V8 to change the spark plugs, then realized you didn’t know how they went back. Or maybe you built an alarm for your bedroom door out of an ABS box, a switch and a buzzer from Radio Shack and it even worked! Maybe you built an air chiller for your sister’s pet mice when she traveled in her old un-airconditioned VW. Yes, I’ve done all these things and I even got my dad’s V8 running, after some trial and error.

If you’ve ever done any of these or similar things then you’re a Gearhead, a Maker or a Geek. You’re in good company…

So, how do you satisfy your perpetual jones to disassemble and create geeky stuff? Leave me a comment below.

It could simply be that the First Law of Thermodynamics is still incomplete. There was a time that it was believed impossible to create matter, but that was quite literally blown away by research and discovery.

Not to say you’re wrong, and it was a good argument, but I’m not going to discount the possibility.
